  1996—1997年在日本名古屋大學(xué)應(yīng)用化學(xué)研究所做為日本學(xué)術(shù)振興會(huì)(JSPS)訪問(wèn)教授,1997—1998年在日本東京電氣通信大學(xué)受聘為副教授,2001年在日本東北大學(xué)多元物質(zhì)研究所做訪問(wèn)教授,2003年再次訪問(wèn)日本東北大學(xué)多元物質(zhì)研究所; 2003-2004加拿大多倫多大學(xué)做訪問(wèn)教授.
  
  主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目五項(xiàng)和廣東省自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng);主持廣東省中國(guó)科學(xué)院全面戰(zhàn)略合作項(xiàng)目,在國(guó)內(nèi)外期刊(J.Am.Chem.Soc., J. Phys. Chem. A.; J. Phys. Chem. B.; Journal of Applied Crystallography;Cell proliferation;Crystal Growth and Design; Synlett; Synthetic metals;等 ) 已發(fā)表研究論文220多篇, 申請(qǐng)發(fā)明專利十二項(xiàng)。2002年獲教育部首批高等學(xué)校優(yōu)秀骨干教師獎(jiǎng)。2007年、2008年和2003年獲廣東省科技三等獎(jiǎng)共三項(xiàng)(兩項(xiàng)第一完成人和一項(xiàng)為第二完成人),2005年獲廣東省科技二等獎(jiǎng)一項(xiàng)(第一完成人);
  
  本課題組研究方向?yàn)椋?br />   1)稀土摻雜透明半導(dǎo)體功能材料;
  2)光催化還原CO2的有機(jī)/無(wú)機(jī)雜化MOF新材料;
  3)抗癌-抗HIV-1新藥物分子的設(shè)計(jì)合成。

  曾和平教授1992年開始招收有機(jī)化學(xué)碩士研究生,現(xiàn)招收應(yīng)用化學(xué)博士研究生1-2名/年,招收有機(jī)化學(xué)和應(yīng)用化學(xué)專業(yè)碩士生2-4名/年;本研究團(tuán)隊(duì)中教育部長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者,Rutgers University教授,美國(guó)總統(tǒng)獎(jiǎng)獲得者李靜教授招收博士學(xué)位研究生1-2名/年,接受博士后工作者進(jìn)站工作.
