生物化學(xué)與分子生物學(xué)系

 

        五十年代，由于化學(xué)和物理學(xué)與生命科學(xué)的交叉，生物化學(xué)作為一門獨(dú)立的學(xué)科得到了飛躍發(fā)展，并強(qiáng)有力地促進(jìn)了醫(yī)學(xué)、工業(yè)和農(nóng)業(yè)等研究。1958年，在原中國科學(xué)院生物化學(xué)研究所、復(fù)旦大學(xué)生物系和化學(xué)系的共同努力下正式建立了生物化學(xué)專業(yè)?，F(xiàn)任系主任董愛武教授，有9名教授和6名副教授。
        生物化學(xué)系設(shè)有植物分子生物學(xué)、表觀遺傳學(xué)、基因表達(dá)調(diào)控、細(xì)胞分子生物學(xué)、藥物開發(fā)與篩選等多個研究方向，側(cè)重對國民經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會發(fā)展有重大意義的相關(guān)研究，承擔(dān)著多項(xiàng)國家、省部、企業(yè)和國際合作項(xiàng)目。




Department of Biochemistry
        Owing to the overlap among the cross-disciplines of Chemistry and Physics and Life Sciences, Biochemistry flourished in 1950s, which greatly promoted the research in the fields of pharmaceutics, industry and agriculture. In the former Department of Biology, the Biochemistry Major was established in 1958, with the joint efforts of the former Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences (located in Shanghai), the former Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry of Fudan University. Its current Chairwoman is Professor Aiwu Dong, and has 9 full professors and 6 associate professors. The faculty research areas include Plant Molecular Biology, Epigenetics, Regulation of Gene Expression, Cell Molecular Biology and Drug Discovery, and aim to contribute to basic understanding as well as economic growth. The research in the Department is funded by national and provincial projects, as well as industrial and international cooperation projects.
