一、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)
I. Educational Objectives    
面向區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)和國(guó)防工業(yè),培養(yǎng)德、智、體、美、勞全面發(fā)展,適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代工程建設(shè)需要;熟練運(yùn)用基礎(chǔ)理論和專業(yè)知識(shí),具備獲得土木工程行業(yè)執(zhí)業(yè)資格的能力,能夠在房屋建筑工程、交通土建工程、巖土與地下工程等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域獨(dú)立承擔(dān)技術(shù)或管理工作;具有創(chuàng)新意識(shí)、人文素養(yǎng)、一定的國(guó)際視野和社會(huì)責(zé)任感,以及良好的組織管理和溝通協(xié)調(diào)能力;能夠通過(guò)自主學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)現(xiàn)能力和技術(shù)水平的提升,成為土木工程及相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型人才。具體為:
①能夠作為技術(shù)骨干從事土木工程設(shè)計(jì)、施工和管理等工作,具備取得相應(yīng)執(zhí)業(yè)資格的能力。(工程能力)
②具有創(chuàng)新精神和工程研究能力,能夠創(chuàng)造性地解決土木工程設(shè)計(jì)、施工、管理和科研等方面的復(fù)雜工程問(wèn)題。(創(chuàng)新能力)

Oriented to the regional economy and defense industry, this major is to training high-grade specialized talents with all-round development, meeting the needs of modern engineering construction. The talents should have solid major knowledge and engineering practice ability; have good humanity knowledge, team-work spirit, social responsibility, lifelong learning ability and international outlook. The talents should also can obtain the civil engineering profession qualification, undertake engineering design, construction, management, and scientific research, etc. in constructional engineering, traffic engineering, geotechnical and underground engineering.
(1) Have ability to solve complex engineering problems in civil engineering, be able to work as technical experts in engineering design, construction, management, can obtain the civil engineering profession qualification. (Engineering ability)
(2) Have innovative spirit and scientific research ability, could undertake innovative work in engineering design, construction, management, and scientific research. (Innovation spirit)

Could use the mathematics, natural science, engineering foundation, and professional knowledge integrate with related concepts, principles, techniques and methods, solve the complex engineering issues.
(2) Problem Analysis:
Could use the fundamental and related knowledge of mathematics, natural science and engineering science to identify the complex engineering issues, express its basic principles, and analyze the key factors, by contrast, reasoning, analysis and reading literature, obtain effective conclusions.
(3) Design (Exploit) Solutions:
Considering the society, healthy, safety, law, culture and environment influence, innovatively design (exploit) system, structure, component (node) or construction scheme for complex engineering geological conditions, load conditions and construction environment.
(4) Research Aspect:
Could design and operate experiment based on the scientific principles and approach, obtain experimental data, process and analyse the results. Integrate experimental phenomena, data analysis results and other information, obtain effective conclusions and conduct in the engineering practice.
(5) Modern Tools Usage:
Could exploit, select and use appropriate survey, drawing, testing and other technology and modern engineering tools; internet, literature, materials and other resources; programming language, computer software and other information technology tools, to survey, test, model and analyze complex engineering issues, predicting and simulating these issues, and know its limitations.
(6) Engineering and society:
Could base on the related technical background and standards, evaluate the design, construction, operation program and solution of complex engineering issues, including the impacts on the social, health, safety, legal and culture aspects, and understanding the responsibility of the civil engineer.

Understand the concept and connotation of environmental protection and sustainable development, evaluate the impact of complex engineering practice on environmental and social sustainable development, have green built idea.

Understand China's national conditions, with humanity knowledge, social responsibility, understand and observe the professional ethics and codes in the practice, serve the country and society.

Work as individual, members or leader of a team in solving complex engineering problems.
