　　1971年8月生，籍貫湖南沅陵。
　　1993年7月畢業(yè)于湖南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)，獲學(xué)士學(xué)位。
　    2001年8月畢業(yè)于武漢大學(xué)，獲博士學(xué)位。
　　2002年2月～2004月12月：美國威斯康星大學(xué) 博士后（Research Associate)。
　　2005年1月～2006年6月：美國威斯康星大學(xué) 助理研究員(Assistant Scientist)。
　　2006年7月～ 中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué) 教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。

　　近年來一直從事植物基因組學(xué)研究。主要包括：
　　1) 玉米等作物染色體著絲粒的結(jié)構(gòu)和功能研究；
　　2) 玉米近緣種（薏苡、大芻草等）的基因組學(xué)研究；
　　3）玉米單倍體誘導(dǎo)機理的研究；
　　4）玉米減數(shù)分裂相關(guān)基因及其他重要功能基因的克??；
　　5) 其他植物分子細胞遺傳學(xué)研究。
